Jesus Freak (album)
|
Jesus Freak is the fourth album by dc Talk, released in 1995 and debuting at #3 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart. It has gone on to sell over two million copies[1]. The album was listed at #14 in the 2001 book CCM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music.
Widely considered by many to be the greatest Christian rock album of all-time, Jesus Freak changed the genre of Christian hip-hop and Christian rock in so many ways that it still influences bands today.

Freaked!
On June 20, 2006, Gotee Records, which is headed by dc Talk's Toby McKeehan, released a ten-year anniversary CD called Freaked! This CD features artists from record labels Gotee and Mono vs Stereo remaking songs off of the original Jesus Freak album. Freaked! is not a true tenth-anniversary album, as it was released eleven-and-a-half years after Jesus Freak.
