My name is Chad Steenerson. I've been the webservant and editor for JesusFreak.com since 1999 and JesusFreakBlog.com since 2005. I was ordained in March 2006 by The Missionary Church International and as of October 2006 I am waiting for the Lord to open doors for me for full-time ministry. My passion is challenging believers in Christ to be doers of the Word, and not just hearers. As the question at the top of every page on JesusFreak.com asks, "What are you going to do about Jesus?"

I was considering a career in Christian radio (I am a huge Christian rock fan and listen to quite a few online Christian radio stations) when I started college at Samford University in 1990, but then I fell in love with print journalism--and writing has opened up huge doors in my life for ministry. Right before I started college, the Lord called me to preach, and at that time I never imagined how amazing of a tool the Internet would be in helping spread the Gospel. I think the Internet is the second-greatest tool in the world next to radically-changed followers of Christ in helping take the Word to the entire world.
