  1. Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
  2. Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
  3. Let them be turned because of their shame Who say, "Aha! Aha!"
  4. Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted!"
  5. But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. Yahweh, don't delay.

  1. אלהים להצילני יהוה לעזרתי חושה׃
  2. יבשו ויחפרו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויכלמו חפצי רעתי׃
  3. ישובו על־עקב בשתם האמרים האח האח׃
  4. ישישו וישמחו בך כל־מבקשיך ויאמרו תמיד יגדל אלהים אהבי ישועתך׃
  5. ואני עני ואביון אלהים חושה־לי עזרי ומפלטי אתה יהוה אל־תאחר׃

  1. εις το σωσαι με κυριον ο θεος εις την βοηθειαν μου
  2. αισχυνθειησαν και εντραπειησαν οι ζητουντες μου την ψυχην αποστραφειησαν εις τα οπισω και καταισχυνθειησαν οι βουλομενοι μοι
  3. αποστραφειησαν παραυτικα αισχυνομενοι οι λεγοντες μοι ευγε
  4. αγαλλιασθωσαν και ευφρανθητωσαν επι σοι παντες οι ζητουντες σε και λεγετωσαν δια παντος μεγαλυνθητω ο θεος οι αγαπωντες το σωτηριον
  5. εγω δε πτωχος και πενης ο θεος βοηθησον μοι βοηθος μου και ρυστης μου ει συ κυριε μη

  1. In finem. Psalmus David in rememorationem, quod salvum fecerit eum Dominus.
  2. Confundantur, et revereantur, qui quærunt animam meam.
  3. Avertantur retrorsum, et erubescant, qui volunt mihi mala ; avertantur statim erubescentes qui dicunt mihi : Euge, euge !
  4. Exsultent et lætentur in te omnes qui quærunt te ; et dicant semper : Magnificetur Dominus, qui diligunt salutare tuum.
  5. Ego vero egenus et pauper sum ; Deus, adjuva me. Adjutor meus et liberator meus es tu ; Domine, ne moreris.

  1. Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
  2. Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
  3. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
  4. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
  5. But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
