There is no man who has power over the spirit to contain the spirit; neither does he have power over the day of death. There is no discharge in war; neither shall wickedness deliver those who practice it.

Hebrew אין אדם שליט ברוח לכלוא את־הרוח ואין שלטון ביום המות ואין משלחת במלחמה ולא־ימלט רשע את־בעליו׃
Greek ουκ εστιν ανθρωπος εξουσιαζων εν πνευματι του κωλυσαι συν το πνευμα και ουκ εστιν εξουσια εν ημερα του θανατου και ουκ εστιν αποστολη εν τω πολεμω και ου διασωσει ασεβεια τον παρ'
Latin Non est in hominis potestate prohibere spiritum, nec habet potestatem in die mortis : nec sinitur quiescere ingruente bello, neque salvabit impietas impium.
KJV There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
