Hebrew ויהי כשמע פיליכס את הדרים האלה ויאחר את דינם לעת אחרת כי עניני הדרך הזאת נודעו לו היטב ויאמר ברדת אלי לוסיאס שר האלף אשפט על דברכם׃
Greek ανεβαλετο δε αυτους ο φηλιξ ακριβεστερον ειδως τα περι της οδου ειπας οταν λυσιας ο χιλιαρχος καταβη διαγνωσομαι τα καθ υμας
Latin Distulit autem illos Felix, certissime sciens de via hac, dicens : Cum tribunus Lysias descenderit, audiam vos.
KJV And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
