So yeah, this is just short, I saw it was linked from somewhere and I thought there should at least be something here. Also, I was thinking about something else. Here at WikiChristian we seem to be going in various directions (which is a great thing about wikis!) but I was thinking that it might be good for us to kindda sit down and talk as it were about where WikiChristian is headed. Not that we need to limit where we're headed. I think it's great that we're going in lots of directions. But maybe just put the various directions down so that we know whats going on. In addition a list of like various directions we're going in (ie, updating Easton's Bible Dictionary wiki-style, creating intro's to every book in the Bible, adding various devotionals, creating a Christian web directory, etc, etc, etc...listing churches from around the world...and anything else) might also help new people who are just joining wikichristian to know where to plug in a bit more. I agree that we need to have defined "vision" as the Bible says "People die for lack of vision". Since it is a wiki, we can collectively envision a vision. I think the broad vision is to serve as a wiki Christian encyclopedia covering and linking everything Christian on the internet and to serve as a wiki Christian community. Let us work on this vision page.  -Prab

:: I have indeed noticed the funkiness of the tabs across the top, in other browsers and operating systems too. It must be in tweaks made to the CSS in the actual system files.  Prab has talked about wanted to upgrade our MediaWiki version number in the not-to-distant future, which should take care of it if that is the problem. I think we'd better wait til then.

:: As for the short URL's, I'm beginning to see the wisdom on Wikipedia's subdirectory style.  But I'm not sure what you mean, SW, about the ?title= part: that is only visible when editing and must always be so.  It's the regular /index.php/ style that bugs you?  What if it was /wiki/Article?  --Aquatiki 05:39, 30 August 2008 (PDT)

I have indeed noticed the funkiness of the tabs across the top, in other browsers and operating systems too. It must be in tweaks made to the CSS in the actual system files. Prab has talked about wanted to upgrade our MediaWiki version number in the not-to-distant future, which should take care of it if that is the problem. I think we'd better wait til then.
As for the short URL's, I'm beginning to see the wisdom on Wikipedia's subdirectory style. But I'm not sure what you mean, SW, about the ?title= part: that is only visible when editing and must always be so. It's the regular /index.php/ style that bugs you? What if it was /wiki/Article? --Aquatiki 05:39, 30 August 2008 (PDT)
