Lloyd Mackey is a Canadian Christian involved in news, publishing and writing ministry in Canada.
Lloyd Mackey is a publisher, writer and journalist. He is the founder of Canada's first community Christian newspaper Christian Info News now called BC Christian News. He was director of The Institute of Christian Newspapering. He taught journalism at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. He is a member of the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery in Ottawa. His articles have been published by many media outlets across Canada.

During my "retirement" after 37 years of journalism, I am sensing there's yet something to do, for me at least, that has something to do with conciliation, peacemaking or some similar such activity. Conflict is very much a part of what we are as human beings, within families, workplaces and nations. In many ways, conflict is necessary to understand what makes cultures different.
For whatever reason, my own life experience and that of my wife Edna's has exposed us regularly to the concepts of Christian and Biblical conciliation and conflict resolution. It's my hope the research and writing I do in Ottawa–will lead to Biblical conciliation and conflict resolution.
