Psalm 20 Text (WEB) May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high, send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion, remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah. May He grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your counsel. We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Yahweh grant all your requests. Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright. Save, Yahweh! Psalm 20 Text (Hebrew) יענך יהוה ביום צרה ישגבך שם אלהי יעקב׃ ישלח־עזרך מקדש ומציון יסעדך׃ יזכר כל־מנחתך ועולתך ידשנה סלה׃ יתן־לך כלבבך וכל־עצתך ימלא׃ נרננה בישועתך ובשם־אלהינו נדגל ימלא יהוה כל־משאלותיך׃ עתה ידעתי כי הושיע יהוה משיחו יענהו משמי קדשו בגברות ישע ימינו׃ אלה ברכב ואלה בסוסים ואנחנו בשם־יהוה אלהינו נזכיר׃ המה כרעו ונפלו ואנחנו קמנו ונתעודד׃ יהוה הושיעה המלך יעננו ביום־קראנו׃
Psalm 20 Text (Greek) επακουσαι σου κυριος εν ημερα θλιψεως υπερασπισαι σου το ονομα του θεου εξαποστειλαι σοι βοηθειαν εξ αγιου και εκ σιων αντιλαβοιτο μνησθειη πασης θυσιας σου και το ολοκαυτωμα σου πιανατω δωη σοι κατα την καρδιαν σου και πασαν την βουλην σου αγαλλιασομεθα εν τω σωτηριω σου και εν ονοματι θεου ημων μεγαλυνθησομεθα πληρωσαι κυριος παντα τα αιτηματα νυν εγνων οτι εσωσεν κυριος τον χριστον αυτου επακουσεται αυτου εξ ουρανου αγιου αυτου εν δυναστειαις η σωτηρια της δεξιας ουτοι εν αρμασιν και ουτοι εν ιπποις ημεις δε εν ονοματι κυριου θεου ημων αυτοι συνεποδισθησαν και επεσαν ημεις δε ανεστημεν και κυριε σωσον τον βασιλεα σου και επακουσον ημων εν η αν ημερα επικαλεσωμεθα
Psalm 20 Text (Latin) In finem. Psalmus David. Mittat tibi auxilium de sancto, et de Sion tueatur te. Memor sit omnis sacrificii tui, et holocaustum tuum pingue fiat. Tribuat tibi secundum cor tuum, et omne consilium tuum confirmet. Lætabimur in salutari tuo ; et in nomine Dei nostri magnificabimur. Impleat Dominus omnes petitiones tuas ; nunc cognovi quoniam salvum fecit Dominus christum suum. Exaudiet illum de cælo sancto suo, in potentatibus salus dexteræ ejus. Hi in curribus, et hi in equis ; nos autem in nomine Domini Dei nostri invocabimus. Ipsi obligati sunt, et ceciderunt, nos autem surreximus, et erecti sumus. Domine, salvum fac regem, et exaudi nos in die qua invocaverimus te.
Psalm 20 Text (KJV) The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
