Psalm 11 Text (WEB)
|
- In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain!"
- For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
- If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
- Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men.
- Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.
- On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
- For Yahweh is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face. For the Chief Musician; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David.

- יהוה צדיק יבחן ורשע ואהב חמס שנאה נפשו׃

Psalm 11 Text (Latin)
|
- In finem. Psalmus David.
- Quoniam ecce peccatores intenderunt arcum ; paraverunt sagittas suas in pharetra, ut sagittent in obscuro rectos corde ;
- quoniam quæ perfecisti destruxerunt ; justus autem quid fecit ?
- Dominus in templo sancto suo ; Dominus in cælo sedes ejus. Oculi ejus in pauperem respiciunt, palpebræ ejus interrogant filios hominum.

Psalm 11 Text (KJV)
|
- In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
- For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
- If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
- The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
- The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
- Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
- For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
