- Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel struck, and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward:
- Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon;
- and the Arabah to the sea of Chinneroth, eastward, and to the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth Jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah:
- and the border of Og king of Bashan, of the remnant of the Rephaim, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
- and ruled in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
- Moses the servant of Yahweh and the children of Israel struck them. Moses the servant of Yahweh gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
- These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon even to Mount Halak, that goes up to Seir. Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
- in the hill country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the South; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
- the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
- the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
- the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
- the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;
- the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
- the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
- the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
- the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;
- the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;
- the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lassharon, one;
- the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;
- the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;
- the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
- the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;
- the king of Dor in the height of Dor, one; the king of Goiim in Gilgal, one;
- the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty-one.

- ואלה מלכי הארץ אשר הכו בני־ישראל וירשו את־ארצם בעבר הירדן מזרחה השמש מנחל ארנון עד־הר חרמון וכל־הערבה מזרחה׃
- סיחון מלך האמרי היושב בחשבון משל מערוער אשר על־שפת־נחל ארנון ותוך הנחל וחצי הגלעד ועד יבק הנחל גבול בני עמון׃
- והערבה עד־ים כנרות מזרחה ועד ים הערבה ים־המלח מזרחה דרך בית הישמות ומתימן תחת אשדות הפסגה׃
- וגבול עוג מלך הבשן מיתר הרפאים היושב בעשתרות ובאדרעי׃
- ומשל בהר חרמון ובסלכה ובכל־הבשן עד־גבול הגשורי והמעכתי וחצי הגלעד גבול סיחון מלך־חשבון׃
- משה עבד־יהוה ובני ישראל הכום ויתנה משה עבד־יהוה ירשה לראובני ולגדי ולחצי שבט המנשה׃ ס
- ואלה מלכי הארץ אשר הכה יהושע ובני ישראל בעבר הירדן ימה מבעל גד בבקעת הלבנון ועד־ההר החלק העלה שעירה ויתנה יהושע לשבטי ישראל ירשה כמחלקתם׃
- בהר ובשפלה ובערבה ובאשדות ובמדבר ובנגב החתי האמרי והכנעני הפרזי החוי והיבוסי׃ ף

- Hi sunt reges, quos percusserunt filii Israël, et possederunt terram eorum trans Jordanem ad solis ortum, a torrente Arnon usque ad montem Hermon, et omnem orientalem plagam, quæ respicit solitudinem.
- Sehon rex Amorrhæorum, qui habitavit in Hesebon, dominatus est ab Aroër, quæ sita est super ripam torrentis Arnon, et mediæ partis in valle, dimidiæque Galaad, usque ad torrentem Jaboc, qui est terminus filiorum Ammon.
- Et a solitudine usque ad mare Ceneroth contra orientem, et usque ad mare deserti, quod est mare salsissimum, ad orientalem plagam per viam quæ ducit Bethsimoth : et ab australi parte, quæ subjacet Asedoth, Phasga.
- Terminus Og regis Basan, de reliquiis Raphaim, qui habitavit in Astaroth, et in Edrai, et dominatus est in monte Hermon, et in Salecha, atque in universa Basan, usque ad terminos
- Gessuri, et Machati, et dimidiæ partis Galaad : terminos Sehon regis Hesebon.

- Hi sunt reges terræ, quos percussit Josue et filii Israël trans Jordanem ad occidentalem plagam, a Baalgad in campo Libani, usque ad montem cujus pars ascendit in Seir : tradiditque eam Josue in possessionem tribubus Israël, singulis partes suas,
- tam in montanis quam in planis atque campestribus. In Asedoth, et in solitudine, ac in meridie Hethæus fuit et Amorrhæus, Chananæus, et Pherezæus, Hevæus et Jebusæus.

- Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
- Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
- And from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdoth-pisgah:
- And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
- And reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
- Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
- And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
