Hebrew וישאל מאתו מכתבים לדמשק אל בתי הכנסיות למען אשר יאסר את אשר ימצא בדרך ההיא אנשים או נשים ויביאם ירושלים׃
Greek ητησατο παρ αυτου επιστολας εις δαμασκον προς τας συναγωγας οπως εαν τινας ευρη της οδου οντας ανδρας τε και γυναικας δεδεμενους αγαγη εις ιερουσαλημ
Latin et petiit ab eo epistolas in Damascum ad synagogas : ut si quos invenisset hujus viæ viros, ac mulieres, vinctos perduceret in Jerusalem.
KJV And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
