Hebrew ויאמר אליהם המלך אשר־ייטב בעיניכם אעשה ויעמד המלך אל־יד השער וכל־העם יצאו למאות ולאלפים׃
Greek και ειπεν προς αυτους ο βασιλευς ο εαν αρεση εν οφθαλμοις υμων ποιησω και εστη ο βασιλευς ανα χειρα της πυλης και πας ο λαος εξεπορευετο εις εκατονταδας και εις
Latin Ad quos rex ait : Quod vobis videtur rectum, hoc faciam. Stetit ergo rex juxta portam : egrediebaturque populus per turmas suas centeni, et milleni.
