Hebrew ויעזב את־הבקר וירץ אחרי אליהו ויאמר אשקה־נא לאבי ולאמי ואלכה אחריך ויאמר לו לך שוב כי מה־עשיתי לך׃
Greek και κατελιπεν ελισαιε τας βοας και κατεδραμεν οπισω ηλιου και ειπεν καταφιλησω τον πατερα μου και ακολουθησω οπισω σου και ειπεν ηλιου αναστρεφε οτι πεποιηκα
Latin Qui statim relictis bobus cucurrit post Eliam, et ait : Osculer, oro, patrem meum, et matrem meam, et sic sequar te. Dixitque ei : Vade, et revertere : quod enim meum erat feci tibi.
KJV And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
