Many well known authors have a deep Christian faith that have significantly influenced their books. Some of the more famous Christian authors include C.S. Lewis who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia, John Stott who has written a number of books on Jesus Christ and William Barclay who wrote a series of commentaries on the books of the New Testament.

Ancient Authors

Many famous authors from the early centuries wrote defences of the Christian faith. They were known as apologists and include Justin Martyr.

Other famous authors of the time include Jerome who translated the Bible into Latin.
