Problem
2 Kings 8:26 says Ahaziah was 22 when his reign started, but 2 Chronicles 22:2 says he was 42.
Resolution
This is a copyist error. Ahaziah's actual age was 22, since he became king when his father died at age 40 (2 Chronicles 21:20).
