Psalm 43 Text (WEB)
|
- Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.
- For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
- Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents.
- Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.
- Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God. For the Chief Musician. By the sons of Korah. A contemplative psalm.

Psalm 43 Text (Latin)
|
- Psalmus David. Judica me, Deus, et discerne causam meam de gente non sancta, ab homine iniquo et doloso erue me.
- Quia tu es, Deus, fortitudo mea, quare me repulisti ? et quare tristis incedo, dum affligit me inimicus ?
- Emitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam ; ipsa me deduxerunt, et adduxerunt in montem sanctum tuum, et in tabernacula tua.
- Et introibo ad altare Dei, ad Deum qui lætificat juventutem meam. Confitebor tibi in cithara, Deus, Deus meus.
- Quare tristis es, anima mea ? et quare conturbas me ? Spera in Deo, quoniam adhuc confitebor illi, salutare vultus mei, et Deus meus.

Psalm 43 Text (KJV)
|
- Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
- For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
- O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
- Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
- Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
