Psalm 30 Text (WEB)
|
- I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
- Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.
- Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
- Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.
- For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
- As for me, I said in my prosperity, "I shall never be moved."
- You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.
- I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication:
- "What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?
- Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper."
- You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
- To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever! For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.

Psalm 30 Text (Hebrew)
|

Psalm 30 Text (Latin)
|
- Psalmus canti, in dedicatione domus David.
- Domine Deus meus, clamavi ad te, et sanasti me.
- Domine, eduxisti ab inferno animam meam ; salvasti me a descendentibus in lacum.
- Domine, in voluntate tua præstitisti decori meo virtutem ; avertisti faciem tuam a me, et factus sum conturbatus.
- Quæ utilitas in sanguine meo, dum descendo in corruptionem ? Numquid confitebitur tibi pulvis, aut annuntiabit veritatem tuam ?
- Convertisti planctum meum in gaudium mihi ; conscidisti saccum meum, et circumdedisti me lætitia ;
Domine Deus meus, in æternum confitebor tibi.

Psalm 30 Text (KJV)
|
- I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
- O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
- O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
- Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
- For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
- And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
- LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
- I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
- What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
- Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
- Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
- To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
