The New King James Version (NKJV) is an English Bible Translation that was fully released by 1982. It's a very popular translation which took a total of 7 years to complete with the New Testament and Psalms having early releases (New Testament in 1979 and Psalms in 1980).
Many critics hold the NKJV in high regards and despite its name, the translation is not related to the more popular and older, King James Version.
