Chapter 1
1:1 In the Beginning, God made the Heavens and Earth, down to the nitty gritty 1:2 Earth was just blank and empty. And it was pitch black everywhere. The Holy Ghost was moving around it. 1:3 So then God said "Light, appear!" and suddenly there was light. 1:4 God said when it was light, that would be called daytime and when it's dark, it would be called night. So from morning to night was the first day. 1:1
