  1. Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.
  2. Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
  3. If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
  4. But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
  5. I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
  6. My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.
  7. Israel, hope in Yahweh, for with Yahweh there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption.

  1. שיר המעלות ממעמקים קראתיך יהוה׃
  2. אדני שמעה בקולי תהיינה אזניך קשבות לקול תחנוני׃
  3. אם־עונות תשמר־יה אדני מי יעמד׃
  4. כי־עמך הסליחה למען תורא׃
  5. קויתי יהוה קותה נפשי ולדברו הוחלתי׃
  6. נפשי לאדני משמרים לבקר שמרים לבקר׃
  7. יחל ישראל אל־יהוה כי־עם־יהוה החסד והרבה עמו פדות׃
  8. והוא יפדה את־ישראל מכל עונתיו׃

  1. ωδη των αναβαθμων εκ βαθεων εκεκραξα σε
  2. κυριε εισακουσον της φωνης μου γενηθητω τα ωτα σου προσεχοντα εις την φωνην της δεησεως
  3. εαν ανομιας παρατηρηση κυριε κυριε τις
  4. οτι παρα σοι ο ιλασμος
  5. ενεκεν του νομου σου υπεμεινα σε κυριε υπεμεινεν η ψυχη μου εις τον λογον
  6. ηλπισεν η ψυχη μου επι τον κυριον απο φυλακης πρωιας μεχρι νυκτος απο φυλακης πρωιας ελπισατω ισραηλ επι τον
  7. οτι παρα τω κυριω το ελεος και πολλη παρ' αυτω
  8. και αυτος λυτρωσεται τον ισραηλ εκ πασων των ανομιων

  1. Canticum graduum. De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine ;
  2. Domine, exaudi vocem meam. Fiant aures tuæ intendentes in vocem deprecationis meæ.
  3. Si iniquitates observaveris, Domine, Domine, quis sustinebit ?
  4. Quia apud te propitiatio est ; et propter legem tuam sustinui te, Domine. Sustinuit anima mea in verbo ejus ;
  5. speravit anima mea in Domino.
  6. A custodia matutina usque ad noctem, speret Israël in Domino ;
  7. quia apud Dominum misericordia, et copiosa apud eum redemptio.
  8. Et ipse redimet Israël ex omnibus iniquitatibus ejus.

  1. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
  2. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
  3. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
  4. But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
  5. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
  6. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
  7. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
  8. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
