I received [[Jesus]] Christ as my personal [[Lord]] and [[Saviour]] in April of 1971. I can truthfully say that His [[love]] grows sweeter and sweeter each day. I have learned during all these years to lean on Him in times of [[victory]] and happiness, as well as in times of defeat and sorrow. He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

[[Pharaoh]] now begins to offer compromises to the children of [[Israel]]. [[Pharaoh]] is a type of [[Satan]]; he was the [[God]] of [[Egypt]]; he had supreme power (except where limited by [[God]]); he was a liar; a murderer; he kept people in bondage. He hated the [[Word]] of [[God]], as well as the people of [[God]], and did not want to release them.

Just as the [[Jews]] could not serve [[God]] and [[Pharaoh]], [[Christians]] today cannot serve [[God]] and [[Satan]]. [[God]] demands complete separation from the world and the things of the world. [[God]] demands total obedience. To be successful [[Christians]] we must be totally submitted to Him.
