בהשתדלי להגיד את הבשורה לא במקמות אשר שם כבר נקרא שם המשיח לבלתי בנות על יסוד אחרים׃

Greek ουτως δε φιλοτιμουμενον ευαγγελιζεσθαι ουχ οπου ωνομασθη χριστος ινα μη επ αλλοτριον θεμελιον οικοδομω
Latin Sic autem prædicavi Evangelium hoc, non ubi nominatus est Christus, ne super alienum fundamentum ædificarem :
KJV Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:
