Hebrew ויאמר מי לך כל־המחנה הזה אשר פגשתי ויאמר למצא־חן בעיני אדני׃
Greek και ειπεν τι ταυτα σοι εστιν πασαι αι παρεμβολαι αυται αις απηντηκα ο δε ειπεν ινα ευρη ο παις σου χαριν εναντιον σου
Latin Dixitque Esau : Quænam sunt istæ turmæ quas obviam habui ? Respondit : Ut invenirem gratiam coram domino meo.
KJV And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
WEB Esau said, "What do you mean by all this company which I met?" Jacob said, "To find favor in the sight of my lord."
