Now while Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there was gathered together to him out of Israel a very great assembly of men and women and children; for the people wept very bitterly.

Hebrew וכהתפלל עזרא וכהתודתו בכה ומתנפל לפני בית האלהים נקבצו אליו מישראל קהל רב־מאד אנשים ונשים וילדים כי־בכו העם הרבה־בכה׃ ס
Greek και ως προσηυξατο εσδρας και ως εξηγορευσεν κλαιων και προσευχομενος ενωπιον οικου του θεου συνηχθησαν προς αυτον απο ισραηλ εκκλησια πολλη σφοδρα ανδρες και γυναικες και νεανισκοι οτι εκλαυσεν ο λαος και υψωσεν
Latin Sic ergo orante Esdra, et implorante eo et flente, et jacente ante templum Dei, collectus est ad eum de Israël cœtus grandis nimis virorum et mulierum et puerorum, et flevit populus fletu multo.
KJV Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.
