Hebrew ויהי ככלות יוחנן את מרוצתו ויאמר למי תחשבוני לא אני הוא כי הנה הוא בא אחרי ואני נקלתי מהתיר את נעלי רגליו׃
Greek ως δε επληρου ιωαννης τον δρομον ελεγεν τι εμε υπονοειτε ειναι ουκ ειμι εγω αλλ ιδου ερχεται μετ εμε ου ουκ ειμι αξιος το υποδημα των ποδων λυσαι
Latin Cum impleret autem Joannes cursum suum, dicebat : Quem me arbitramini esse, non sum ego, sed ecce venit post me, cujus non sum dignus calceamenta pedum solvere.
KJV And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
