Hebrew	ויאמר המלך היד יואב אתך בכל־זאת ותען האשה ותאמר חי־נפשך אדני המלך אם־אש להמין ולהשמיל מכל אשר־דבר אדני המלך כי־עבדך יואב הוא צוני והוא שם בפי שפחתך את כל־הדברים האלה׃
Greek	και ειπεν ο βασιλευς μη η χειρ ιωαβ εν παντι τουτω μετα σου και ειπεν η γυνη τω βασιλει ζη η ψυχη σου κυριε μου βασιλευ ει εστιν εις τα δεξια η εις τα αριστερα εκ παντων ων ελαλησεν ο κυριος μου ο βασιλευς οτι ο δουλος σου ιωαβ αυτος ενετειλατο μοι και αυτος εθετο εν τω στοματι της δουλης σου παντας τους λογους
Latin	Et ait rex : Numquid manus Joab tecum est in omnibus istis ? Respondit mulier, et ait : Per salutem animæ tuæ, domine mi rex, nec ad sinistram, nec ad dexteram est ex omnibus his quæ locutus est dominus meus rex : servus enim tuus Joab, ipse præcepit mihi, et ipse posuit in os ancillæ tuæ omnia verba hæc.
