Wikis are fatally flawed in that, like christian morality, the place the emphasis on the process rather than on the outcome.
Their only benefit is trollability- in an age where rational conversation is destroyed due to hysterical reactions whenever taboos are crossed, trolling takes on new importance as the way to shock people out of complacency and into realizing that their world isn't so insulated from "bad stuff".
