John 11 tells the story of [[Lazarus]] being raised from the dead. He was a close friend of [[Jesus]] who lived in [[Bethany]]. Jesus states the famous line in [[John 11:25]], "I am the resurrection, and the life...". The story climaxes with the Jesus calling Lazarus out of the tomb, and Lazarus walking out, alive! The story also contains the shortest verse, "[[Jesus wept]]" - [[John 11:35]].
