Talk:Evangelical Christian Church in Canada

I find this article confusing and difficult to follow. Would it be possible for someone with knowledge of this denomination to rewrite much of it so that someone with no knowledge of the church or of the restoration movement can make sense of it. For example, it would be great the opening sentence could describe the church briefly, for example "The Evangelical Christian Church in Canada is a relatively new Christian denomination in Canada with X number of churches and Y number of members. It is closely aligned with denomination Z and some of its distinctive and defining doctrines include ..." - I'm assuming that this church is considered a mainstream Christian denomination that recognizes other denominations rather than an exclusive sect that doesn't recognize other denominations - is this right? I believe the reason why there is a certain amount of confusion with The Evangelical Christian Church in Canada is the The Evangelical Christain Church in Canada and The Canadian Evangelical Christian Church is one and the same organization. I am explaining two pages that are one.

Let me explain - I wanted to request that the name The Canadian Evangelical Christian Church's name has now changed to The Evangelical Christian Church in Canada. I think that once you make this change in name, everything else will fall in line, and it will makes sense to delete the page The Evangelical Christian Church in Canada

Does this make some sense?
