Psalm 96 Text (WEB)
  1. Sing to Yahweh a new song! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.
  2. Sing to Yahweh! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!
  3. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
  4. For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods.
  5. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
  6. Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
  7. Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of nations, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.
  8. Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
  9. Worship Yahweh in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
  10. Say among the nations, "Yahweh reigns." The world is also established. It can't be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
  11. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!
  12. Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy
  13. before Yahweh; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.

  1. שירו ליהוה שיר חדש שירו ליהוה כל־הארץ׃
  2. שירו ליהוה ברכו שמו בשרו מיום־ליום ישועתו׃
  3. ספרו בגוים כבודו בכל־העמים נפלאותיו׃
  4. כי גדול יהוה ומהלל מאד נורא הוא על־כל־אלהים׃
  5. כי כל־אלהי העמים אלילים ויהוה שמים עשה׃
  6. הוד־והדר לפניו עז ותפארת במקדשו׃
  7. הבו ליהוה משפחות עמים הבו ליהוה כבוד ועז׃
  8. הבו ליהוה כבוד שמו שאו־מנחה ובאו לחצרותיו׃
  9. השתחוו ליהוה בהדרת־קדש חילו מפניו כל־הארץ׃
  10. אמרו בגוים יהוה מלך אף־תכון תבל בל־תמוט ידין עמים במישרים׃
  11. ישמחו השמים ותגל הארץ ירעם הים ומלאו׃
  12. יעלז שדי וכל־אשר־בו אז ירננו כל־עצי־יער׃
  13. לפני יהוה כי בא כי בא לשפט הארץ ישפט־תבל בצדק ועמים באמונתו׃

  1. οτε ο οικος ωκοδομειτο μετα την αιχμαλωσιαν ωδη τω δαυιδ ασατε τω κυριω ασμα καινον ασατε τω κυριω πασα η
  2. ασατε τω κυριω ευλογησατε το ονομα αυτου ευαγγελιζεσθε ημεραν εξ ημερας το σωτηριον
  3. αναγγειλατε εν τοις εθνεσιν την δοξαν αυτου εν πασι τοις λαοις τα θαυμασια
  4. οτι μεγας κυριος και αινετος σφοδρα φοβερος εστιν επι παντας τους
  5. οτι παντες οι θεοι των εθνων δαιμονια ο δε κυριος τους ουρανους
  6. εξομολογησις και ωραιοτης ενωπιον αυτου αγιωσυνη και μεγαλοπρεπεια εν τω αγιασματι
  7. ενεγκατε τω κυριω αι πατριαι των εθνων ενεγκατε τω κυριω δοξαν και
  8. ενεγκατε τω κυριω δοξαν ονοματι αυτου αρατε θυσιας και εισπορευεσθε εις τας αυλας
  9. προσκυνησατε τω κυριω εν αυλη αγια αυτου σαλευθητω απο προσωπου αυτου πασα η
  10. ειπατε εν τοις εθνεσιν ο κυριος εβασιλευσεν και γαρ κατωρθωσεν την οικουμενην ητις ου σαλευθησεται κρινει λαους εν
  11. ευφραινεσθωσαν οι ουρανοι και αγαλλιασθω η γη σαλευθητω η θαλασσα και το πληρωμα
  12. χαρησεται τα πεδια και παντα τα εν αυτοις τοτε αγαλλιασονται παντα τα ξυλα του
  13. προ προσωπου κυριου οτι ερχεται οτι ερχεται κριναι την γην κρινει την οικουμενην εν δικαιοσυνη και λαους εν τη αληθεια

  1. Canticum ipsi David, quando domus ædificabatur post captivitatem. Cantate Domino canticum novum, cantate Domino omnis terra.
  2. Cantate Domino, et benedicite nomini ejus ; annuntiate de die in diem salutare ejus.
  3. Annuntiate inter gentes gloriam ejus, in omnibus populis mirabilia ejus.
  4. Quoniam magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis ; terribilis est super omnes deos ;
  5. quoniam omnes dii gentium dæmonia ; Dominus autem cælos fecit.
  6. Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus ; sanctimonia et magnificentia in sanctificatione ejus.
  7. Afferte Domino, patriæ gentium ; afferte Domino gloriam et honorem ;
  8. afferte Domino gloriam nomini ejus. Tollite hostias, et introite in atria ejus ;
  9. adorate Dominum in atrio sancto ejus. Commoveatur a facie ejus universa terra ;
  10. dicite in gentibus, quia Dominus regnavit. Etenim correxit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur ; judicabit populos in æquitate.

  7. Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

  9. O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
  10. Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
  11. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
