Commentary
Psalm 49 tells the story that is common to humanity - that everyone dies. Yet it also tells of the great hope of eternal life - that those who trust in God will be saved. This echoes the New Testament which shows that faith in Jesus, the Son of God, brings forgiveness and salvation.
