Psalm 23 Text (WEB) Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh's house forever. A Psalm by David.
Psalm 23 Text (Hebrew) מזמור לדוד יהוה רעי לא אחסר׃ בנאות דשא ירביצני על־מי מנחות ינהלני׃ נפשי ישובב ינחני במעגלי־צדק למען שמו׃ גם כי־אלך בגיא צלמות לא־אירא רע כי־אתה עמדי שבטך ומשענתך המה ינחמני׃ תערך לפני שלחן נגד צררי דשנת בשמן ראשי כוסי רויה׃ אך טוב וחסד ירדפוני כל־ימי חיי ושבתי בבית־יהוה לארך ימים׃
Psalm 23 Text (Greek) ψαλμος τω δαυιδ κυριος ποιμαινει με και ουδεν με εις τοπον χλοης εκει με κατεσκηνωσεν επι υδατος αναπαυσεως εξεθρεψεν την ψυχην μου επεστρεψεν ωδηγησεν με επι τριβους δικαιοσυνης ενεκεν του ονοματος εαν γαρ και πορευθω εν μεσω σκιας θανατου ου φοβηθησομαι κακα οτι συ μετ' εμου ει η ραβδος σου και η βακτηρια σου αυται με ητοιμασας ενωπιον μου τραπεζαν εξ εναντιας των θλιβοντων με ελιπανας εν ελαιω την κεφαλην μου και το ποτηριον σου μεθυσκον ως και το ελεος σου καταδιωξεται με πασας τας ημερας της ζωης μου και το κατοικειν με εν οικω κυριου εις μακροτητα
Psalm 23 Text (Latin) Psalmus David. Dominus regit me, et nihil mihi deerit : in loco pascuæ ibi me collocavit. Super aquam refectionis educavit me, animam meam convertit. Deduxit me super semitas justitiæ, propter nomen suum. Nam, etsi ambulavero in medio umbræ mortis, non timebo mala, quoniam tu mecum es. Virga tua, et baculus tuus, ipsa me consolata sunt. Parasti in conspectu meo mensam, adversus eos qui tribulant me ; impinguasti in oleo caput meum ; et calix meus inebrians quam præclarus est ! Et misericordia tua subsequetur me omnibus diebus vitæ meæ ; et ut inhabitem in domo Domini, in longitudinem dierum.
Psalm 23 Text (KJV) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
