Psalm 113 - Versions
Psalm 113 Text (WEB)
  1. Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh.
  2. Blessed be the name of Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore.
  3. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Yahweh's name is to be praised.
  4. Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.
  5. Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,
  6. Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?
  7. He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;
  8. that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
  9. He settles the barren woman in her home, as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!

  1. הללו יה הללו עבדי יהוה הללו את־שם יהוה׃
  2. יהי שם יהוה מברך מעתה ועד־עולם׃
  3. ממזרח־שמש עד־מבואו מהלל שם יהוה׃

  5. מי כיהוה אלהינו המגביהי לשבת׃
  6. המשפילי לראות בשמים ובארץ׃
  7. מקימי מעפר דל מאשפת ירים אביון׃
  8. להושיבי עם־נדיבים עם נדיבי עמו׃
  9. מושיבי עקרת הבית אם־הבנים שמחה הללו־יה׃

  2. ειη το ονομα κυριου ευλογημενον απο του νυν και εως του
  3. απο ανατολων ηλιου μεχρι δυσμων αινειτε το ονομα
  4. υψηλος επι παντα τα εθνη ο κυριος επι τους ουρανους η δοξα
  5. τις ως κυριος ο θεος ημων ο εν υψηλοις
  6. και τα ταπεινα εφορων εν τω ουρανω και εν τη
  7. ο εγειρων απο γης πτωχον και απο κοπριας ανυψων
  8. του καθισαι αυτον μετα αρχοντων μετα αρχοντων λαου
  9. αλληλουια εν εξοδω ισραηλ εξ αιγυπτου οικου ιακωβ εκ λαου

  2. Sit nomen Domini benedictum ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.
  3. A solis ortu usque ad occasum laudabile nomen Domini.
  4. Excelsus super omnes gentes Dominus, et super cælos gloria ejus.
  5. Quis sicut Dominus Deus noster, qui in altis habitat,
  6. et humilia respicit in cælo et in terra ?
  7. Suscitans a terra inopem, et de stercore erigens pauperem :
  8. ut collocet eum cum principibus, cum principibus populi sui.
  9. Qui habitare facit sterilem in domo, matrem filiorum lætantem.

  1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
  2. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
  3. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
  4. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
  5. Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
  6. Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
  7. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
  8. That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
  9. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
