Psalm 112 Text (WEB)
  1. Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
  2. His seed will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
  3. Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
  4. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.
  5. It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
  6. For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
  7. He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.
  8. His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
  9. He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
  10. The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.

  1. הללו יה אשרי־איש ירא את־יהוה במצותיו חפץ מאד׃
  2. גבור בארץ יהיה זרעו דור ישרים יברך׃
  3. הון־ועשר בביתו וצדקתו עמדת לעד׃
  4. זרח בחשך אור לישרים חנון ורחום וצדיק׃
  5. טוב־איש חוןן ומלוה יכלכל דבריו במשפט׃
  6. כי־לעולם לא־ימוט לזכר עולם יהיה צדיק׃
  7. משמועה רעה לא יירא נכון לבו בטח ביהוה׃
  8. סמוך לבו לא יירא עד אשר־יראה בצריו׃
  9. פזר נתן לאביונים צדקתו עמדת לעד קרנו תרום בכבוד׃
  10. רשע יראה וכעס שניו יחרק ונמס תאות רשעים תאבד׃

  1. αλληλουια μακαριος ανηρ ο φοβουμενος τον κυριον εν ταις εντολαις αυτου θελησει
  2. δυνατον εν τη γη εσται το σπερμα αυτου γενεα ευθειων
  3. δοξα και πλουτος εν τω οικω αυτου και η δικαιοσυνη αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα του
  4. εξανετειλεν εν σκοτει φως τοις ευθεσιν ελεημων και οικτιρμων και
  5. χρηστος ανηρ ο οικτιρων και κιχρων οικονομησει τους λογους αυτου εν
  6. οτι εις τον αιωνα ου σαλευθησεται εις μνημοσυνον αιωνιον εσται
  7. απο ακοης πονηρας ου φοβηθησεται ετοιμη η καρδια αυτου ελπιζειν επι
  8. εστηρικται η καρδια αυτου ου μη φοβηθη εως ου επιδη επι τους εχθρους
  9. εσκορπισεν εδωκεν τοις πενησιν η δικαιοσυνη αυτου μενει εις τον αιωνα του αιωνος το κερας αυτου υψωθησεται εν
  10. αμαρτωλος οψεται και οργισθησεται τους οδοντας αυτου βρυξει και τακησεται επιθυμια αμαρτωλων

  1. Alleluja, reversionis Aggæi et Zachariæ. Beatus vir qui timet Dominum, in mandatis ejus volet nimis.
  2. Potens in terra erit semen ejus ; generatio rectorum benedicetur.
  3. Gloria et divitiæ in domo ejus, et justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.
  4. Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis, misericors, et miserator, et justus.
  5. Jucundus homo qui miseretur et commodat, disponet sermones suos in judicio ;
  6. quia in æternum non commovebitur.
  7. In memoria æterna erit justus ; ab auditione mala non timebit. Paratum cor ejus sperare in Domino,
  8. confirmatum est cor ejus ; non commovebitur donec despiciat inimicos suos.
  9. Dispersit, dedit pauperibus ; justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi ; cornu ejus exaltabitur in gloria.
  10. Peccator videbit, et irascetur, dentibus suis fremet et tabescet ; desiderium peccatorum peribit.

  1. Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
  2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
  3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
  4. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
  5. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
  6. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
  7. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
  8. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
  9. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
  10. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
