Nidus celebrates the Christian faith, the arts, and justice through an annual festival, gatherings, and events. Nidus fosters unity and learning among Christian persons, groups, and organizations, intermixing faith and ministries, artistic expression, as well as peace and social justice initiatives.
Nidus Festival 2009 is planned for August 14 to 16, with programming beginning Friday evening and ending Sunday morning with our ecumenical worship service.
We believe there is a groundswell of energy surrounding arts, justice and ecumenism in Christian circles. Nidus Festival 2006 demonstrated that there is a great deal of openness and enthusiasm amongst many different groups of Christians, especially when the arts are linked to issues of social justice.
