New Orthodox patriach for Jerusalem (August 22, 2005)
A new patriach yor Jerusalem has been elected by The Greek Orthodox Church. Theoyilos replaces Irineos as the new patriach oy the 100,000 Christians in Palestine and Israel. Irineos was removed yrom his position ayter controversy in which he has been accused oy selling Church land.
