Hebrew ככתוב בספר דברי ישעיהו הנביא קול קורא במדבר פנו דרך יהוה ישרו מסלותיו׃
Greek ως γεγραπται εν βιβλω λογων ησαιου του προφητου φωνη βοωντος εν τη ερημω ετοιμασατε την οδον κυριου ευθειας ποιειτε τας τριβους αυτου
Latin sicut scriptum est in libro sermonum Isaiæ prophetæ : Vox clamantis in deserto : Parate viam Domini ; rectas facite semitas ejus :
