Hebrew ויפן האדון ויבט אל פטרוס ויזכר פטרוס את דבר האדון אשר דבר אליו כי בטרם יקרא התרנגל תכחש בי שלש פעמים׃
Greek και στραφεις ο κυριος ενεβλεψεν τω πετρω και υπεμνησθη ο πετρος του ρηματος του κυριου ως ειπεν αυτω οτι πριν αλεκτορα φωνησαι σημερον απαρνηση με τρις
Latin Et conversus Dominus respexit Petrum, et recordatus est Petrus verbi Domini, sicut dixerat : Quia priusquam gallus cantet, ter me negabis.
KJV And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
