Hebrew ויארבו לו וישלחו מארבים והם נדמו כצדיקים למען ילכדו אותו בדבר להסגירו אל השררה ואל יד ההגמון׃
Greek και παρατηρησαντες απεστειλαν εγκαθετους υποκρινομενους εαυτους δικαιους ειναι ινα επιλαβωνται αυτου λογου ωστε παραδουναι αυτον τη αρχη και τη εξουσια του ηγεμονος
Latin Et observantes miserunt insidiatores, qui se justos simularent, ut caparent eum in sermone, ut traderent illum principatui, et potestati præsidis.
KJV And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
