Hebrew ויבקשו הכהנים הגדולים והסופרים לשלח בו את ידם בעת ההיא וייראו מפני העם כי ידעו אשר עליהם דבר את המשל הזה׃
Greek και εζητησαν οι γραμματεις και οι αρχιερεις επιβαλειν επ αυτον τας χειρας εν αυτη τη ωρα και εφοβηθησαν τον λαον εγνωσαν γαρ οτι προς αυτους ειπεν την παραβολην ταυτην
Latin Et quærebant principes sacerdotum et scribæ mittere in illum manus illa hora, et timuerunt populum : cognoverunt enim quod ad ipsos dixerit similitudinem hanc.
KJV And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
