The whole city of New Orleans is being evacuated since it is no longer inhabitable until the water recedes and the city cleaned up. It is hard to imagine a disaster of this proportion in the United States that has virtually overpowered all the emergency management teams. The people taking care of the elderly in a Nursing home had abandoned them running for their own lives leading to the death of all the elderly people in that nursing home.

The most depressing situation a human being could be in is a situation of hopelessness and we pray that none of the victims would feel hopeless since we have a God who promises a hope and a future.
