Hebrew ויאמר אדני יען כי נגש העם הזה בפיו ובשפתיו כבדוני ולבו רחק ממני ותהי יראתם אתי מצות אנשים מלמדה׃
Greek και ειπεν κυριος εγγιζει μοι ο λαος ουτος τοις χειλεσιν αυτων τιμωσιν με η δε καρδια αυτων πορρω απεχει απ' εμου ματην δε σεβονται με διδασκοντες ενταλματα ανθρωπων και
Latin Et dixit Dominus : Eo quod appropinquat populus iste ore suo, et labiis suis glorificat me, cor autem ejus longe est a me, et timuerunt me mandato hominum et doctrinis,
KJV Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
