Hebrew ויפל יהוה אלהים תרדמה על־האדם ויישן ויקח אחת מצלעתיו ויסגר בשר תחתנה׃
Greek και επεβαλεν ο θεος εκστασιν επι τον αδαμ και υπνωσεν και ελαβεν μιαν των πλευρων αυτου και ανεπληρωσεν σαρκα αντ'
Latin Immisit ergo Dominus Deus soporem in Adam : cumque obdormisset, tulit unam de costis ejus, et replevit carnem pro ea.
KJV And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
