Hebrew וזכרת כי עבד היית במצרים ויפדך יהוה אלהיך משם על־כן אנכי מצוך לעשות את־הדבר הזה׃ ס
Greek και μνησθηση οτι οικετης ησθα εν γη αιγυπτω και ελυτρωσατο σε κυριος ο θεος σου εκειθεν δια τουτο εγω σοι εντελλομαι ποιειν το ρημα
Latin Memento quod servieris in Ægypto, et eruerit te Dominus Deus tuus inde. Idcirco præcipio tibi ut facias hanc rem.
KJV But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
