D.J. Wooten is a retired Evangelical Minister, poet, singer, and songwriter from Cambridge, MD. Together with his wife, Lily, he has produced several CDs and a book of poetry. D.J. has a number of relatives with the same initials and frequently goes by the name Pop-Pop. D.J.'s music falls into inspirational, patrotic, American pride, and Christian Folk genres.
