Christian Bible Club (East Hills Middle School, Pennsylvania)

Christian Bible Club (CBC) is a bible study organization that was created by Angel Martinez in order to spread the word of God to teens in public schools. Christian Bible Club was first founded by fellow classmates Angel Martinez and Austin Prass. Prass decided not to come to any of the meetings or help Angel with anything going on in CBC so Angel chose to kick Austin out of the program. Christian Bible Club has now started the second year of the program and will start in Florida sometime between 2009 and 2010.

The Beginning of CBC

Christian Bible Club was formed by two fellow class mates Angel Martinez and Austin Prass in a lunch cafeteria at East Hills Middle School. They both decided to create the program when they were in the 7th grade with team 7C. The team leader, Mr. Carpenter hosted a "Town Meeting" which is where the whole 7C team students would discuss birthdays, new programs, student recognitions, on so-on. When they first started discussing things about the program it was originally supposed to be named Holy Christian Club (HCC), which was chosen by Austin Prass. A few weeks after they started talking about what they would do in CBC Angel told the grade prinicpal, Mr. Tsamoutalidis about the program, and that is when he suggested that Shadrach King should join and help CBC. Then, Shadrach brought with him Anthony Rodriguez who would also help with Christian Bible Club.

The Reason Why CBC Was Started

Angel Martinez started Christian Bible Club so he and other fellow students would spead the word of God to all teens today. He specifically chose to make CBC for teens because in the United States alone is one of the leading countries with teen pregnancy and violence in the entire world. That is why they started Christian Bible Club so they could remind teens about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
