You are righteous, Yahweh, when I contend with you; yet I would reason the cause with you: why does the way of the wicked prosper? why are all they at ease who deal very treacherously?

Hebrew צדיק אתה יהוה כי אריב אליך אך משפטים אדבר אותך מדוע דרך רשעים צלחה שלו כל־בגדי בגד׃
Greek δικαιος ει κυριε οτι απολογησομαι προς σε πλην κριματα λαλησω προς σε τι οτι οδος ασεβων ευοδουται ευθηνησαν παντες οι αθετουντες
Latin Justus quidem tu es, Domine, si disputem tecum : verumtamen justa loquar ad te : Quare via impiorum prosperatur, bene est omnibus qui prævaricantur, et inique agunt ?
KJV Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
