Hebrew ובסביבו המקום ההוא היו שדות אשר לראש אנשי האי ושמו פובליוס הוא הביא אתנו לביתו ויכלכל אתנו בטובו שלשת ימים׃
Greek εν δε τοις περι τον τοπον εκεινον υπηρχεν χωρια τω πρωτω της νησου ονοματι ποπλιω ος αναδεξαμενος ημας φιλοφρονως εξενισεν
Latin In locis autem illis erant prædia principis insulæ, nomine Publii, qui nos suscipiens, triduo benigne exhibuit.
KJV In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
