Hebrew ויאמר פולוס יוחנן הטביל בטבילת התשובה ואמר אל העם כי האמן יאמינו באשר יבוא אחריו והוא המשיח ישוע׃
Greek ειπεν δε παυλος ιωαννης εβαπτισεν βαπτισμα μετανοιας τω λαω λεγων εις τον ερχομενον μετ αυτον ινα πιστευσωσιν τουτ εστιν εις τον ιησουν
Latin Dixit autem Paulus : Joannes baptizavit baptismo pœnitentiæ populum, dicens : In eum qui venturus esset post ipsum, ut crederent, hoc est, in Jesum.
KJV Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
