Hebrew ויקרא אבשלום לפני עבדי דוד ואבשלום רכב על־הפרד ויבא הפרד תחת שובך האלה הגדולה ויחזק ראשו באלה ויתן בין השמים ובין הארץ והפרד אשר־תחתיו עבר׃
Greek και συνηντησεν αβεσσαλωμ ενωπιον των παιδων δαυιδ και αβεσσαλωμ επιβεβηκως επι του ημιονου αυτου και εισηλθεν ο ημιονος υπο το δασος της δρυος της μεγαλης και εκρεμασθη η κεφαλη αυτου εν τη δρυι και εκρεμασθη ανα μεσον του ουρανου και ανα μεσον της γης και ο ημιονος υποκατω αυτου
Latin Accidit autem ut occurreret Absalom servis David, sedens mulo : cumque ingressus fuisset mulus subter condensam quercum et magnam, adhæsit caput ejus quercui : et illo suspenso inter cælum et terram, mulus, cui insederat, pertransivit.
